Yasemin Demirhan, B.A.
Since December 2024, Yasemin Demirhan is working as project coordinator on the project “More than four walls – innovative ideas for sustainable accommodation in and with municipalities” (funded by Stiftung Mercator). Prior, she gained initial insights into the project by conducting her desktop study “Anders Unterbringen: Alternative Konzepte für Geflüchtete auf Kommunaler Ebene – eine empirische Typologie” (Alternative Housing: Alternative Concepts for Refugees at the Municipal Level – An Empirical Typology).
Before joining the FAU Center for Human Rights Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU CHREN), she worked on integration and migration issues with the Office for Equal Opportunities and Diversity of the City of Erlangen. With a background in law, she focused on the intersection of human rights and minority protection between politics and law during her studies at the Department of Public Law at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in 2024 at FAU in Political Science and Public Law.
