Project "Gesundheit! Inclusion in the Care and Nursing Sector"


Yasemin Bekyol is a research fellow at the FAU Center for Human Rights Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU CHREN) in the project “Gesundheit! Inclusion in the Care and Nursing Sector” and a doctoral candidate at the MFI (working title: ‘Vulnerability in the European Asylum System). Previously, she worked as research fellow on a study on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on migration and integration in Germany and on a commissioned study on the rights fo female asylum seekers in Germany and Belgium for the European Parliament. She also worked at the German Red Cross General Secretariat as a researcher for a EU project on the reception and integration of asylum seekers in the Resettlement and Relocation Programme. She studied International Politics (MSc) at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and Linguistics and Political Economics (BA) at Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg and Loughborough University.
