Research on Migration, Displacement and Integration
Dr. Daniel Mekonnen is a research fellow for the project “Flucht- und Flüchtlingsforschung: Vernetzung und Transfer (FFVT)“. He is hosted at the Centre for Human Rights Erlangen-Nürnberg (CHREN). Daniel is a Geneva-based Independent Consultant for international human rights law and international refugee law. His current research project is related to the plight of “climate displaced persons,” with a focus on exiting gaps of international law in this regard.
