Political Theory – Bachelor’s degree program

In the Bachelor’s degree program, you take two basic modules from the sub-discipline of Political Philosophy, Political Theory, and History of Political Ideas. Module I consists of a lecture (total 5 ECTS), which extends over two semesters and is completed with an examination or optionally two partial examinations. Module II consists of a seminar (“Proseminar”, 5 ECTS), which requires regular, active participation, a presentation, and the completion of a term paper (10-12 pages). The seminars currently offered can be found in the module handbook and UnivIS.

In the sub-discipline Political Philosophy, Political Theory, and History of Political Ideas, you can also take the in-depth module (“Hauptseminar”, 5 ECTS), complete the mentorship (5 ECTS) and write your Bachelor’s thesis (10 ECTS).
