The lecture series takes up the manifold tensions, contradictions and paradoxes that attach themselves to the concept of freedom. In lectures, discussions and talks, it contrasts claims to freedom, as well as the design and empiricism of freedom. Topics include: Freedom and Peace, Peasant Liberation in Franconia, Pandemic Freedoms, Freedom and the Right to Vote, the Freedom to Mourn, Freedoms of Age(s), Freedom and Dictatorship, Freedom as a Human Right.
